So today morning husband declared that he is a very independent person and can take of himself and his breakfast by cooking himself :) (happens twice a year) , since i was in a mood to 'taste' this independence , i called up my sis for some early morning breakfast gossip session and left him to his own devices in the kitchen.
Honestly, I expected some bread omelette sort of breakfast but was super pleasantly surprised when i was served this.
Spaghetti Aglio Olio
Now this is not a typical breakfast dish but if some one else is cooking, why not ?? Can definitely try for dinner with red wine..and it's so so easy to cook and full of flavors.
Here are the ingredients
essentially
Spaghetti of your choice
Roughly chopped garlic
Roughly chopped dried red chillies
Salt
Olive oil
Steps :
1) Boil Spaghetti in salted water till al dente, drain, set aside.
2) roughly chop garlic and dried red chillies
3) Heat olive oil in wok, add garlic and red chilli, saute for couple of minutes on high temperature.
4) add cooked spaghetti, turn down the flame to medium, saute for couple of minutes ..adjust seasoning
And DONE ...easy peasy ..right ??

That looks yummy! Now I would definitely have him cook more! My hubby does only french toast and fish sticks, but it is a start! Thanks for the recipe!
